Barber Stylist Course – 1500 Clock Hours

Objective

The Barber Stylist Course prepares the student for the TDLR examination and provides the knowledge and skills to be employable in the profession as a licensed Barber.

Barber Instructor Course- 1000 Clock Hours

Objective

The Barber Instructor Course prepares the student to be a licensed Instructor in the knowledge and skills which will allow (s) he to be able to prepare the student for the Barber Licensing Exam.

Requirements/Prerequisite

Class A Barber License

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Before a student’s records are electronically submitted to TDLR, (s) he must meet the following requirements of the college:

1. •Complete all required hours mandated by the TDLR;
   

2. •Pass the School Exam Review Book test
   

3. •Pass the School Barber Law test
   

4. •Be able to complete a scalp massage, shampoo, blow dry, haircut, shave, facial, relaxer, color, and perm on their own;
   

5. •Before the above examinations are given, total tuition and fees must be paid in full.
